Testimonials
Actually, Andy and I couldn’t stop laughing the other day in the car as we put
the CD on and they both immediately stopped whinging and started patting their
knees to Our Time.

…..Additionally, I really appreciate you providing information throughout the
class as to how each activity affects the development of eg the brain,
communication skills, etc. I am sure it must get repetitive for you, but If we
hear it enough times…..it will sink in and add value to the whole experience.

Audrey and I have both enjoyed the past two terms of Kindermusik with you and
Katie. Compared to other things available for kids, Kindermusik seems to more so
foster a warm, accepting and welcome environment for both parents and kids. My
sister found the same thing when taking her two kids.
When Nina is in class she is fairly quiet - taking it all in. But when she's
home and we are listening to the CD she gets tremendously exited. It's
absolutely wonderful.

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed your Kindermusik session today.
Lindi is always telling me how much Phoebe loves your classes! In fact she was
squealing with joy as we were coming up the stairs to the classroom this
afternoon!!! I am hoping to make it to more classes as my work hours are now a
bit more flexible than before.
I love the school's philosophy and not only Ben has learnt a lot from his time
at Kindermusik but I have too. Thank you for all your enthusiasm and wonderful
musical knowledge.
Julie
Just a little testament to what Kindermusik does for kids. Caitlin has been
moved to the 3+ area of her kindergarten because she is considered very bright.
Why we credit this to music and getting an early start is that she sings almost
everything that she hears including songs like “I’ve got you under my skin” and
“I love Paris” Though she’s better on some days than others, she recognises
rhythms and key changes and has an extraordinary vocabulary of words that she
doesn’t understand.
I was singing to her recently and she asked me sing a lion song and (which I
did) then an elephant song. When I told her I didn’t know an elephant song she
replied “just like you play in the car dad… elephants gerald” We had been
listening to Ella Fitzgerald singing Cole Porter and she wanted hear some of
those songs.

Just a quick note to say thankyou for Clay’s certificate. It was a very pleasant
surprise and it bought back many happy memories. We are missing your class very
much.
I also wanted to let you know that I learnt many helpful techniques from you,
and I practice them daily with Clay. e.g. I sing 'time to put the toys away' and
he does it. Singing is a big part of Clay’s life and he is constantly saying
'more singing'. I know that going to your class made me less self conscious
about singing around other people. I sing with Clay all day and I enjoy myself,
no matter who is listening. So thanks for every thing.

Timothy has continued to really enjoy his Kindermusik time and we carry the
singing on into our everyday ! It is so exciting to see him blossom in his
confidence and be so joyful in the classes. We think you are a truly talented
teacher, with many skills that you bring to the class and amazing memory for all
those names with so many classes, pupils and parents/carers .

I have a funny little man, he loves routine in everything, even Kindermusik.
There was a little boy and his mum that joined the class for a make up recently,
and for the first half of the class Will kept walking up and looking at the
little boy and his mum, and then by the end of the class, Will and this little
boy were running around holding hands... it was very funny and very cute.

I know Lauren will love the program – she is so imaginative and gets so much out
of Kindermusik – you should see her singing “You are my sunshine” and dancing
around the room – priceless!
Helen
We haven’t been to Kindermusik for the past 6 months and Isabella has demanded a
return this year!!! I am now expecting our second child in April (finally) which
was the main reason for me to slow down late last year. She has been asking
after you so much lately – every time she listens to the CD’s (which is a daily
event) she tells me you are singing to her.

I wanted to send you a quick e-mail to say thank you so much for providing Kiera
and I with a Kindermusik experience. Kiera has enjoyed it so much and I have
enjoyed watching her learn and laugh with the music.
I am not a musical person at all (except for my 80’s CD’s!!) so it has been nice
to expose Kiera to a variety of music and movements. She enjoys her CD at home
and especially bouncing on my knee to the “giddy up horsey” song.

I also just wanted to tell you how much Toby is enjoying the classes. It usually
takes a bit of manipulation to get him there, but after every class he says
unbidden "That was good fun at Kindermusik". I guess you can see how it takes
him a while to warm up, then he's off.....Must admit I enjoy spending 3/4hour
each week singing my lungs out too, sometimes maybe even more than he does!
Vicky
It gives children confidence and a good sense of themselves.
Julie
Fun way to spend quality time in with my child and learn together.

It has been wonderful to see Jacob respond to the programme. He not only enjoys
listening to the CD and attending classes but has picked up the concepts. He
makes music with all sorts of household goodies, stomps, twirls and dances. I
can see he has understood.
I can’t believe how much Mia has learnt through music, she loves to sing and
dance and it makes me so proud to see her achievements. She remembers the songs
more than I do. Mia loved Shiny Dinah and when she went to bed at night we could
hear her merrily singing it. Also …. to see her interact with her dolls and
“teach” them the songs and actions.
Jane
To have an environment where you can learn new ideas and have your child exposed
to learning through music is fabulous. Very friendly, supportive and encourages
you to constantly do things differently.
Susan
I have always loved music and have always incorporated it in Riley’s life but I
was still amazed to see how much he loved and still loves Kindermusik. He is not
like that with all activities so it was and is exciting and gratifying to share
something he loves so much.
Christine
Yesterday Jack and I were listening to the Kindermusik CD at home. The maraca
song came on – Jack went to find his maracas and joined in with a grin on his
face! Very special! (Village class)
I am very impressed with the programme – love the take home aspect, the
opportunity for parent learning about child’s development and brain stimulation
and the appropriateness of activities for the age. (The teacher has) great
interaction with kids and parents. She shares her knowledge and demonstrates
lots of different ways to interact with the children.
Liz
A great introduction to music with fun activities to do at home. Great for
teaching to put things away and learning from older children.
Caitlin
A great experience! I really enjoyed being able to bring the music and
activities home through the take-home pack. Kindermusik plays a big part in our
lives outside lesson time. We put on Milk and Cookies, having not listened to it
for a while. Benjamin stood at attention in the middle of our lounge room and
sang along to every song. Many of the songs were a blur of sounds with one or
two know words that he remembered.

William is developing much better motor skills, listening skills (!!) and is
growing in self confidence.
Deidre
Good musical program that covers almost all aspects of child development. Also
builds children’s self esteem. I still remember my daughter’s first class when
she was 1 ˝ year. She couldn’t sit still for one second but she knew what was
happening in the class. She was running around while copying the children’s
actions. Music is important, just like exercise for the brain. Kindermusik is a
very wonderful way of introducing music to very young children and helping their
brains develop.
Corina
I think Ruby enjoyed the map activity at home a lot – we both did. Lots of fun
had “choo-choo-ing” around the various ‘stations’.
Michelle
When I tell Zoe that it is time to go to music – she stops whatever she is doing
and looks excitedly at the door.
Liz
(One thing I like most about Kindermusik is) The fact that at 3 months she
smiles and giggles after each song.
Wendy
I think it is a relaxed, enjoyable process where children get stimulated on all
levels – music, co-ordination, sharing, waiting your turn, listening,
comprehension, memory and having fun! Jess has loved learning to create stories
– through the music and narration in class and on the CD. She has now taken to
telling stories every time we get in the car. Also, she has developed a
confidence to get up in front of her peers, whereas she was quite shy
beforehand. She (and Toby) love the music and the music from Kindermusik is very
much a part of their daily lives.
Jess and Toby’s mother
I have enjoyed listening to Gemma singing out loud and growing in confidence as
she does so. I will be relieved to listen to a different CD for a while – she
has insisted on her Imagine That CD wherever we go!!
Natalie
I am constantly amazed by the impact these classes have on my family and the
trust and love my kids have for the teacher. Always feeds my brain with
information as well as my children. I believe the teacher genuinely cares about
my children. I love that my one year old jumps out of her skin patting her legs
to the steady beat whenever we sing at home!
